After a busy summer, I was able to take a couple of days off to do some guerrilla-style recording. Nestled in the mountains of West Virginia on Labor day weekend, I produced the subsequent songs for musical enjoyment. I was able to capture some lazy uplifting humor in the session, while also addressing topics circling my atmosphere. Please note it is lazy meaning tranquil and stress free emotionally, not physically. You could say the session was “bare bones” in the sense that it was just me, my instruments, a mic, my computer, and my thoughts. I've been brainstorming, reworking, and compiling a list of about 19 potential songs for my future album when life isn’t so “bare boned.”
